After the attack in Germany, where a car entered the Christmas market in Magdeburg taking the crowd in front, the official Tirana has also reacted.

Prime Minister Edi Rama, through a post on the 'X' platform, says that he was shocked by this attack that took innocent lives.

"Truly horrified by the terrorist attack in Magdeburg, taking innocent lives and injuring many others during the Christmas market celebrations," writes Rama.

Furthermore, the head of government states that " Albania strongly condemns this barbaric act and stands in solidarity with Germany at this painful moment ".

"We remain united against terrorism and violent extremism," reads the Prime Minister's message.

Foreign Minister Igli Hasani also reacted through a post on the 'X' platform, expressing his condolences to the families of the victims and the injured.

"Deeply shocked by the news of the brutal attack in Magdeburg that has left dozens of families devastated during what should be a joyous season. Our hearts go out to the victims, their families and the German people during this difficult time," Hasani writes.

Meanwhile, according to preliminary information, the Foreign Ministry confirms that so far no Albanian citizens have been injured by this terrorist attack that killed two people and left 80 others injured. (A2 Televizion)
