
The government has changed the 2024 budget for the third time, writes A2 CNN.
Through a statement to the media, the Minister of Finance, Petrit Malaj, announced that in the spring, all pensioners whose monthly pension is below 20,000 Lek and 5,000 will receive a bonus in the amount of 10,000 Lek or 100 Euro Lek or 50 Euros for all those pensioners whose monthly pension value is over 20 thousand Lek.
Also, it is announced that all families who are treated with Economic Assistance, Persons with Disabilities (PWD), and their guardians will be beneficiaries of the bonus of 15,000 ALL.

Press statement of the Minister of Finance - Normative act for the 2024 Budget
The Council of Ministers, in a special meeting yesterday, approved the Normative Act, for some changes in the State Budget for 2024.
The Ministry of Finance proposed several measures, after a careful analysis of the economic performance and fiscal indicators for the period January - November 2024.
On the eve of the end of the year, all our attention goes to support the most needy groups, mainly pensioners and low-income families.
• We will distribute 2.2 billion ALL in the form of immediate rewards for some of the most vulnerable social categories.
• Concretely, all families treated with Economic Assistance, Persons with Disabilities (PWD), and their guardians will be beneficiaries of the bonus of 15,000 ALL.
• On the other hand, we will implement the promise to guarantee the Spring bonus, ensuring the creation of a special account in the Bank of Albania, in support of pensioners, to which a fund of 6.3 billion ALL will be transferred.
• In the spring, all those pensioners whose monthly pension is below 20 thousand ALL and 5 thousand ALL or 50 Euro will receive a bonus in the amount of 10 thousand ALL or 100 EUR all those pensioners whose monthly pension is over 20 thousand ALL.
With an additional fund in the amount of 1.4 billion ALL, we will support farmers, ensuring continuous investment for one of the most priority sectors of the economy, agriculture.
We will also allocate an additional fund of about 1.6 billion lek to support the municipalities for the settlement of arrears, as well as to improve the provision of public services to citizens.
The commitment of the Ministry of Finance remains unchanged to ensure the downward trajectory of the level of public debt in relation to GDP, as well as to guarantee fiscal consolidation and stability of the economy as a whole.
