Seven years after the entry into force of the law on the protection of national minorities, a month ago, the Albanian government approved the bylaws at its meeting on December 26, 2024.

Census data has been insufficient, for this reason the government has given every citizen the right to express their claim to belong to a certain minority in Albania, through a signed form with basic data.
