The heavy rainfall that has covered most of the Albanian territory has caused several problems in certain areas of the city of Durrës.
Through an announcement, the Municipality of Durrës announces that the situation is most problematic in administrative unit 6, on the main axes and some secondary roads.
Also, according to the Municipality, in unit no. 6 and near the approval road in Shkozet, water has also entered some of the apartments, writes A2 CNN.
Meanwhile, the city municipality has also notified citizens about the roads that present the most problems and has made available to them contact numbers to call for help in any emergency.

Durrës has been hit by heavy rainfall that has caused problems in several areas of the city. ⛈️
We are on the ground all the time to deal with any situation created by these rainfalls. The situation in Hidrovor is normal and all our teams are assisting the community with any problems.
The structures of the Durrës municipality are maximally engaged in serving citizens and all employees of enterprises and heavy vehicles, firefighters, municipal police are on the ground where emergency intervention is needed.

In other areas of Sukthi and Katund i Ri where the rehabilitation of the embankments has been completed, the situation is normal. Currently, work is being done in all areas where there are problems, especially to remove water from houses. Continuous control of the drainage canal systems and the functional condition of the hydrovors continues, the embankments of the Erzen and Ishëm rivers, the dams of the water catchments and catastrophic dischargers are being continuously monitored, and all logistical capacities and human resources of the operational forces are on standby to cope with any possible situation.
