The National Inspectorate of Territorial Protection has been following the action to free public spaces in Durrës for two days.
Today's action is focused on neighborhood no. 4, near the Train Station, where metal structures, kiosks, etc. are being removed, writes A2 CNN.
The IKMT's intervention is expected to continue in the coming days. We recall that about two weeks ago, IKMT also intervened on the coastline at the Kavajës Rock, where wooden structures erected without permission were demolished and public spaces were freed up to return them to the service of citizens.
Meanwhile, on Monday afternoon, Durrës Municipal Police intervened to clear sidewalks and public spaces on "Epidamn" Boulevard.
The officers asked private entities operating there, mainly coffee bars, fast food, etc., to remove tables and chairs and all tents or umbrellas placed without permission on the sidewalks of Commercial Street.
