Six administrators of the Municipality of Maliq have also resigned.
Sources close to the local government institution indicate that the administrators of the administrative units Libonik, Pirg, Vreshtas, Lozhan, Pojan and Moglica have submitted their resignations to Mayor Gezim Topçiu, while the latter, contacted by phone, stated that the same procedure will also occur with the deputy mayors of the municipality.
These resignations come after Prime Minister Edi Rama's request a few days ago, addressed to directors throughout the Republic of Albania, writes A2 CNN.
We recall that the resignations of municipal directors initially started in Vlora, and then spread to other local units.
Recently, the Territory Protection Inspectorate has undertaken an action to demolish unauthorized constructions, an action which has also highlighted the problems inherited for years in this regard. (A2 Televizion)
