Romina Kuko, Deputy Minister of Interior, President of the Tirana Municipal Council, and candidate for deputy of the Socialist Party in the Korça Region, was invited this Sunday to the show "Off the Record" with Andrea Danglli on A2 CNN, where, among other things, she was asked about one of the biggest wounds that has affected the country in recent years, mass emigration.
Kuko said that the situation in Albania has changed, as according to her, there is an increase in salaries and the economic offer is better.
"The democratic movement does not only affect Albania, it is a Balkan-wide, even European-wide phenomenon. The Korça region has always had emigration. At this moment we had a job fair in Athens where we presented all the employment opportunities in Albania and the economic offer that these opportunities provide.
We have reached a level now that few believe, but it is reality, there is a salary increase, a better economic offer in Albania. We are making continuous efforts to convince Albanians in emigration to return to their country and to trust again in the offer that Albania gives them. We are also dealing with the offer for those who have accumulated capital to invest in Albania", said Kuko.
