A day after the decision against Mayor Erjon Veliaj, new parties came out today in defense of justice and the law. In a statement to the media, Adriatik Lapaj from the "Albania Becomes Movement" said that there is a fierce alliance against the law. He called for the construction of a state where people face the law and are not afraid of it.
"As someone who grew up in the law schools of Albania, I believe there should be no protests for or against justice, they should have their own business, but the point is that there is a fierce alliance against the law here. For this reason, symbolically, we are here to give courage to every man of law who society does not leave alone. No one should be afraid of the law. It must be faced, the process brings out the truth. We must build a state where people face the law, where people are neither lynched nor do they lynch institutions. This must be the standard. In any case, people must face the institution. We must build institutions."
