Italy will stand by Albania, regardless of who is in government. This was the message of the Italian ambassador to our country, Farizio Bucci, who leaves after the end of his 5-year mandate.
"The political situation in Albania is conflictual. In a few months, there are parliamentary elections, and I hope that the electoral campaign will be based on facts and programs. As Albanians are interested in the programs of political parties and what they offer to improve their lives.
We respect the internal dynamics of Albanian politics and it is up to the latter to decide. What is important is that Albania will remain an important partner for Italy. It is a long relationship that will last and Italy will be by Albania's side regardless of the governments that will be in charge of the country".
Bucci spoke from Gjirokastra, where he was awarded the title of honorary citizen by the municipality of Gjirokastra. According to him, Italy will stand by Albania regardless of the governments. (A2 Televizion)
