For several days, the monument to Gjergj Kastriot Skanderbeg in the square that bears his name has been covered, and there has been no shortage of questions among citizens.
In a reaction made on Sunday afternoon, Prime Minister Edi Rama explains that "apart from ideas of national treason," the monument is taking shape, as a copy of it will be placed in "Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg" Square in Paris.
According to the head of government, this step was taken after a diplomatic effort and with the approval of the French authorities.
As stated in the post, in a few days, the scaffolding will be removed from the monument to our national hero.
