The Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, together with over 100 students and professors from Albanian universities, participated in the General Audience of the Holy Father Pope Francis, held in the Aula Paolo VI in the Vatican. The meeting conveyed messages of the universal values of peace, harmony, solidarity and humanism.
After the audience, Minister Manastirliu, together with the Albanian delegation, had the opportunity to meet the Holy Father, Pope Francis.
On this symbolic and cultural journey, Albanian students from the University of Tirana, "Zoja e Kështil i Mire" University, the University of Medicine, the "Mediterranean" University of Tirana, "Roma TRE" University, "La Sapienza" University and the University of Studies of Perugia had the opportunity to exchange experiences and reflect on the importance of education and upbringing as a bridge between peoples.
Following the visit to Rome, the Albanian delegation, led by Minister Hasani and Minister Manastirliu, held a meeting with His Excellency, Monsignor Paul Richard Gallagher, Secretary for Relations with States and International Organizations. During this meeting, we appreciated the excellent relations that exist between Albania and the Holy See, and agreed to further progress these relations. (A2 Televizion)
