As a result of the bad weather, the Port of Vlora informs that, starting this Friday, the sailing of fishing boats and other small vessels will be suspended. In the meantime, the sailing of international transport ships will continue as normal.

Based on the forecast for the worsened hydrometeorological situation inside and outside the bay of Vlora, during the dates 20-22.12.2024, starting at 08:00 on 20.12.2024, the hydrometeorological conditions will be in the direction SOUTH-SOUTH-EAST and NORTH-NORTH -WEST in strength up to 6-7bft with wind speed up to 15-20 m/s and wave height from 1.50 to 2.00 meters.
In order to prevent any unexpected situation due to atmospheric conditions, we ask for the cooperation of all subjects that exercise activity in the maritime field, to take all the necessary measures to secure the tools in the port and increase the readiness of the crew in the tools floating.
1. LICENSED EQUIPMENT IS PROHIBITED - LAUNCHING OF SMALL BOAT AND FISHING VESSELS WHICH OPERATE IN THE OPEN SEAS AND INSIDE THE GULF OF VLORA, STARTING FROM 08:00 ON 20.12.2024.
2. International maritime transport ships will continue to operate normally according to the respective destinations.
