Former employees of Mjekës, Gramsh and Poliçan will receive back payments.
The decision was taken today at the meeting of the Council of Ministers, stating that the repayment of arrears, according to point 1 of this decision, will be completed within 30 (thirty) days from its entry into force.
The announcement also states that the repayment of these obligations amounts to around 250 million lek, writes A2 CNN.

REPAYMENT OF FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS TO THIRD PARTIES OF STATE MILITARY ENTERPRISES
In support of Article 100 of the Constitution, point 4, Article 25, of Law No. 88/2024, “On the Establishment of the State Company for the Production and Trade of Weapons, Ammunition, Equipment and Military Technologies”, and of Law No. 115/2024, “On the 2025 Budget”, as amended, upon the proposal of the Minister of Defense, the Council of Ministers
DECIDED:
The settlement of financial obligations towards third parties, in the amount of 244,541,460 (two hundred and forty-four million five hundred and forty-one thousand four hundred and sixty) lekë, of the state-owned enterprises Elbasan Explosives Plant, Gramsh Mechanical Plant and Poliçan Mechanical Plant, from the budget of the Ministry of Defense, detailed according to attachment no. 1, which is attached to this decision.
The financial effects, according to point 1 of this decision, are covered by the approved budget for 2025, for the Ministry of Defense, in the budget program "Combat Support".
The repayment of arrears, according to point 1 of this decision, shall be completed within 30 (thirty) days from its entry into force.
The Ministry of Defense is responsible for implementing this decision.
