The 111th anniversary of Independence turned the Albanian capital into the epicenter of the celebrations, which culminated with the Red and Black parade, the first of its kind in our country.
Despite the rainy weather, citizens from different areas of the country, from the regions, Arbëresh and Albanians of the diaspora, paraded along the "Dëşmorët e Kombit" boulevard with the Albanian flag and the folk costumes of each of them.
The Mayor of Tirana emphasized that the importance of cooperation with each other is the main message of Flag Day.
The Red and Black Parade was closed in Skënderbej Square to continue with the raising of the red and black flag. For the participants of the parade and those who followed it closely, November 28 is the most marked day of the Albanian nation.
Independence celebrations will continue until the evening hours with activities and musical concerts. (A2 Televizion)
