The poisoning of 17 children in a Gramsh kindergarten results from the consumption of eggs contaminated with salmonella. The Food Safety and Veterinary Institute confirms after analysis the high presence of salmonella in the eggs.
It remains to be verified whether the contamination of the eggs occurred in the Shkodra poultry farm, where the supply was received, or by the food distribution company, which may not have stored the eggs consumed by the children of kindergarten no. 1 in Gramsh in the appropriate conditions. The control of this chain should be carried out by the AKU.
Meanwhile, a day earlier, official NFA analyses of other products showed that meat and milk were not contaminated with salmonella.
Almost all the children of kindergarten number 1 in Gramsh were poisoned a few days ago after consuming food in the kindergarten, ending up in the hospital. This situation has raised alarm among parents, who are demanding controls and standards in public kindergartens for their children. (A2 Televizion)
