Socialist Party MP, Klotilda Bushka, was the next legislator to be summoned to give explanations at the Special Prosecution Office, SPAK.
The MP, who also holds the position of chairwoman of the Laws Committee in the Assembly, entered SPAK in the company of lawyer Henrik Ligori and for four hours responded to the investigators' interest.
Bushka is being investigated by SPAK for the criminal offense of "actions that hinder the disclosure of the truth", following suspicions that he has committed concrete actions to the detriment of the Special Structure in the criminal investigation against Mayor Erion Veliaj and his wife.
After leaving SPAK, Bushka was sparing in her comments, while her lawyer confirmed that his client was not informed of any charges.
Referring to the investigative file of Mayor Veliaj, SPAK has raised suspicions that Klotilda Bushka has undermined the investigation, by orienting witnesses of the process on how they should respond to the prosecution. (A2 Televizion)
