Prime Minister Rama granted the Fier Memorial Hospital the financial autonomy card, while 5 other hospitals received the managerial autonomy card.
"It is an opportunity to be evaluated according to work and evaluated according to work results. Today we move to the next phase, from the managerial autonomy successfully tested here for a year, to financial autonomy. Managerial autonomy will now be tested in 5 other hospitals, the other 5 will receive financial autonomy after a year", declared the Prime Minister.
During this meeting, six other hospitals in the country; “Queen Geraldine” Maternity Hospital, “Koço Gliozheni” Maternity Hospital, Korça Regional Hospital, Elbasan Regional Hospital, Gjirokastër Regional Hospital and the University Trauma Hospital, received the charter of managerial autonomy.
