Snowfall continues without interruption in the north of the country. The police of Shkodra announces that a driver was stuck on the Theth-Bogë road axis, for which the intervention of the traffic police and the snowplow was required.
"The services of the Traffic Police in cooperation with the snowplows went to the aid of a driver from Saranda who was stuck on the Theth-Bogë road axis, and had asked for help at 112, as he was driving with summer tires and it was impossible to followed the movement. Road Police Services have increased their presence on urban and rural road axes due to bad weather with rain and snow. Currently on the road axes Tamare - Selce - Vermosh; Boga - Neck Thorë - Theth; and Pukë - Fushë Arëz - Qafë Mali, there is presence of snow as the snowfall continues without interruption", informs the police.
Snowplows are on the ground and continue to work to clear the roads of snow and distribute salt.
The Traffic Police appeals to drivers to be careful while driving, respect road signs, reduce speed, be equipped with chains and winter tires and follow the instructions of the Traffic Police services; If you need help, call 112.
