Albania and Israel will start direct flights from April 2. The news was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku on social media, according to which this will be an opportunity for cooperation between the two countries that are connected by history.
"Starting on April 2, Albania and Israel will be directly connected through mutual flights, thus expanding the possibilities of cooperation between two countries that have long been closely linked by history."
Balluku emphasizes that on the first inaugural flight, personalities from various fields will come to Albania to promote our country as a tourist attraction.
"During my visit to Israel, I met Dina Ben-Tal Ganancia, the CEO of the Israeli national airline ELAL. The inaugural flight on April 2nd will bring to Tirana personalities from various fields from the tourism and showbiz sectors, with a focus on promoting our country as a tourist attraction, more interesting for Europe."
