The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania has approved the decision to send 4 Albanian soldiers to the NATO Command in Wiesbaden, Germany, to contribute to the assistance and training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The purpose of this decision is direct support for strengthening the capacities of the Ukrainian army in the framework of the fight against Russian aggression.
The mission of the Albanian personnel will have a duration of 3 years, with a rotation of 180 days for each soldier. The Ministry of Defense will cover all expenses for participants, including per diems, accommodation, food, insurance and expenses for other necessary services, such as transport and health support.
This commitment of Albania comes within the framework of continuous support for Ukraine and the strengthening of relations with NATO. This decision is of particular importance for Albania, emphasizing its commitment to international peace and stability. (A2 Televizion)
