The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia, Zoran Dimitrevski, visited Korca this Thursday, from where he spoke about the debate created in Skopje on the language law that ended in the Constitutional Court.

He stated that no initiative will affect joint decisions, such as the Ohrid agreement signed with the Albanians, or the Prespa agreement signed with Greece.

"There are initiatives to repair some of the issues and laws of different languages ​​in Macedonia, such as the Albanian language. These decisions and revisions are not intended to affect the use of the Albanian language. They are issues of language specifications, uniforms, the army, banks. It is still in court, but there will be no unconstitutional decisions that will affect the use of the Albanian language in Macedonia. We want Albanians to feel free and safe, but it is important that the language Macedonian should be appreciated by all citizens in Macedonia", said Dimitrevski.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in Korça on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the teaching of the Macedonian language in Albania. He expresses his gratitude to the official Tirana, which has allowed the Macedonian community to learn and speak their mother tongue without problems.

"It is a historic opportunity because we are close neighbors and we appreciate that Albania has allowed Macedonians to express their language.
