Prime Minister Edi Rama presented his electoral program today in Kukës, where he placed emphasis on the country's economic developments from 2013 until the end of 2024.
Rama focused on the SP platform for supporting small businesses, saying that the government will continue the policy of fiscal relief for them until 2029.
He explained that entities that generate annual income of up to 100 thousand euros will be completely exempt from profit tax and VAT. While for those that generate up to 140 thousand euros per year, only VAT will be applied, but not profit tax.
" The tax for small businesses is practically zero. All those who have a small business with up to 100 thousand euros per year, do not pay either profit tax or VAT. Even for those with up to 140 thousand euros per year, there is only VAT. This is a way to support families and small businesses ," said Rama.
The Prime Minister stressed that Albania already has one of the most favorable tax systems for small businesses in the region. Rama confirmed that these exemptions will remain in force until 2029, aiming to provide small businesses with more disposable income and strengthen their economic sustainability. (A2 Televizion)
