The anticipated meeting of the ERE Board to consider the government's request for a reduction in the price of electricity has been postponed until tomorrow at 11:00.
Two months after being warned by the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, at the same time the Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, the government's proposal to reduce the price of energy for family subscribers has been considered by the Energy Regulatory Authority.
The decision, which is expected to enter into force on February 1, is expected to be taken at Wednesday's meeting of the Board of the Energy Regulatory Entity. Currently, the price of energy for family subscribers is 9.5 Lek per kilowatt without VAT, while with VAT it reaches 11.4 Lek.
The price reduction is expected to affect only the category of family consumers, excluding other categories such as businesses, budgetary and non-budgetary institutions. There will be no changes for bakeries either. (A2 Televizion)
