A 24-year-old man has been arrested by the capital's police for drug trafficking from the US to Albania. Police announce that the young man, Franci Veizaj, was caught red-handed at a post office, receiving a package containing about 3.6 kg of suspected cannabis with a high THC percentage, which is suspected to have been trafficked from the US.
Meanwhile, investigations continue to fully document this criminal activity, identify and apprehend other citizens suspected of involvement.

Approximately 3.6 kg of suspected cannabis narcotics with a high THC percentage, worth 50,000 euros, were seized.
The Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force of the Tirana Police Department, the Rinas Police Commissariat and the Albanian Post Transit Center Branch, as a result of investigations conducted with proactive methods, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, has finalized another phase of the "Destination" operation, against the criminal activity of drug trafficking through the postal service.
As a result of the police operation codenamed "Destination 5", citizen FV, 24 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested.
This citizen was caught red-handed by the Police services, at a post office, receiving a package containing approximately 3.6 kg of suspected cannabis narcotics with a high percentage of THC, which is suspected to have been trafficked from the USA.
Investigations are ongoing to fully document this criminal activity, identify and apprehend other citizens suspected of involvement.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action. (A2 Televizion)
