The Saranda Police have cracked down on two cases of drug distribution and illegal possession of weapons, arresting a 21-year-old and prosecuting a 44-year-old. According to the Police announcement, 21-year-old Florian Gjonça, on charges of drug possession and sale. He distributed the drug cannabis sativa mainly in nightclubs.
"During the checks carried out in neighborhood no. 1, the Police services arrested citizen F. Gj., 21 years old, resident of Saranda, after a quantity of suspected narcotic substance of the cannabis sativa type was found and seized during the physical check. The 21-year-old is suspected of dividing the narcotic substance into doses to sell, mainly in nightclubs in the city of Saranda."
While 44-year-old Arkand Hadushi is accused of illegally carrying a "Gambo" sporting weapon in his vehicle.
"The Police Services stopped an "Audi" type vehicle, where it was found that its driver, citizen AH, 44 years old, resident of Saranda, was carrying a "Gamo" brand sporting weapon in the vehicle, without the permission of the competent authorities. The weapon was seized as material evidence and, following the actions, criminal proceedings were initiated against the 44-year-old."
The materials for both cases were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action. (A2 Televizion)
