Drugs sent by mail from Thailand to Albania, 3 citizens arrested in Tirana

An anti-drug operation has been finalized in Tirana, codenamed 'Destination 3', where three citizens were arrested for grog trafficking.

Through a statement, the Police announced that the arrested were part of a criminal group that trafficked cannabis from Thailand to Albania, through the postal service.

Meanwhile, according to the Police, as material evidence, a quantity of 520 grams with a high percentage of THC, worth 11,000 euros, cash, mobile phones, valuables and other material evidence were seized.

The investigative group continues its work to fully uncover the incident and bring all suspected perpetrators to justice.

A criminal group that was trafficking cannabis from Thailand to Albania through the postal service has been busted.

A quantity of 520 grams with a high THC percentage, worth 11,000 euros, cash, mobile phones, valuables and other material evidence were seized.

3 citizens are arrested.

The Narcotics Investigation Section of the Tirana Police Department, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force at the Tirana Police Department and the Albanian Post Transit Center Branch, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, as a result of actions carried out with proactive methods, have finalized another operation in the context of cracking down on narcotics trafficking.

As a result of the operation, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:

IP, 25 years old,

RZ, 25 years old,

EK, 25 years old,

all three residents of Tirana.

These citizens, in collaboration with each other, are suspected of having trafficked cannabis narcotics with a high THC percentage from Thailand to Albania, through the postal service.

"The materials were passed on to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions," the police announced. (A2 Televizion)
