"As long as the strong..." - Expert Softa: This is where the work of the State Police fails, we need to look at the internal structure

Today, Prime Minister Edi Rama and Interior Minister Ervin Hoxha presented a survey on the work of the State Police in the country.

According to the survey presented, 65% of citizens rate the work of the Police as "Good" or "Very good", while 82% of citizens say they feel safe in their residential areas.

Meanwhile, security expert, Fatjon Softa, has highlighted several problems of the State Police, through a live connection with 'Ditari i Pasdites' with journalist Bruna Çifligu on A2 CNN.

Softa said that the state of the internal structure of the Police should be studied, to identify housing problems, problems with occupational diseases, problems with unemployment of their family members, problems that, according to him, have arisen with the qualification and career advancement of police employees.

He added that as long as there are strong people circulating and as long as there are rich people who have created this kind of gap and who are involved in money laundering, according to the expert, they show the reality of the internal situation of the Police but also of the state itself.

"We must return to the internal structure of the Police, looking at their internal situation. That is, housing problems, problems with occupational diseases, problems with unemployment of their family members, problems that have arisen with the qualification and career promotion of police officers."

Not just by simply encouraging and simulating them politically. There are changes and these changes came as a result of a competition, where it started from the general director to the district director, which was an innovation and a positive act that was done in terms of opening up the competition and the possibility of having the opportunity to make a career from within the police.

"What is lacking is the ability to communicate with the public and the information that the public will provide about them.
