A 24-year-old Albanian fell victim to an assassination attempt with a firearm this evening in Thessaloniki, Greece. According to the Greek media, the incident happened on "Egnatia" street, just before the tollbooths in Oraiokastro.
The young Albanian, originally from Elbasan, but born in Thessaloniki and living in Sozopoli, Halkidiki, was shot while riding a motorcycle.
The perpetrators followed Ronaldo Pecak and shot him the moment he entered the toll road. He received several bullets in the stomach, but continued to drive the motorcycle until he fell to the ground very close to the booth where the road tax is paid.
The ambulance was immediately notified and transported the 24-year-old to the hospital and it is reported that he is in a serious condition.
From the data published by the Greek media, it appears that Pecak has a criminal record in the Greek state and was convicted in July 2021 for theft and was released from prison in November. (A2 Televizion)
