Two Kosovo Albanians have been criminally prosecuted by the police in Morina after 21,000 undeclared Swiss francs were found during the control.
"They tried to bring 21,000 Swiss francs into Albania, without declaring it, 2 Kosovar citizens are being prosecuted.
The Border Police Services have increased vigilance to crack down on illegalities at the border. In this context, at the entrance of RSh, the "BMË" type vehicle with MS driver and BG passenger was passed to the second line for a detailed check. During the check, 21,000 Swiss francs were found on these citizens, which they had not declared compliance with the laws in force. The money was seized as material evidence.
Following the procedural actions for the case, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in free status for the Kosovar citizens MS, 34 years old, resident in Switzerland and BG, 33 years old, resident in Kosovo, for the criminal offense "Failure to declare at the border of of money and valuables".
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Kukës, for further actions", the police informs. (A2 Televizion)
