The police of Vlora announced on Friday that they have arrested a 14-year-old man on the charge of illegal possession of weapons.
According to the blues of the coastal city, the minor had hidden a pistol and ammunition near an apartment, an event which was discovered through a video he had posted on social networks.
Meanwhile, the father of the arrested minor says the exact opposite. According to him, the boy had shown him a challenge on Tik-Tok and after that he had seen the video with the gun.
Bardhosh Tozaj says that he was the one who went to the police to report the weapon that the boy and two friends had found in an abandoned apartment.
"Information was spread that the boy was walking around the school with a gun. This is fake news. I gave the information to the police. I was triggered by a video the boy had made and I was worried. There was a Tik Tok game going around and I went to the school and expressed my concern. Then I told them that I saw a video of a pistol and I didn't know if it was a toy or real. The police came and then we followed the case. They had found the pistol in an unoccupied building. They went and made a video and then hid it," said the minor's father, among other things.
