The police of Vlora have finalized the operation "Transnational" by handcuffing 4 foreign citizens from Ukraine, Poland and Belarus after they are accused of the criminal offenses "Trafficking of adults", carried out in collaboration and "Intimidation".
According to the police, the members of this trafficking network recruited in different countries of Europe, mainly citizens from Ukraine, bringing them to Albania, where they then kept their travel documents and used them to carry out illegal activities, writes A2.
Trafficked persons were forced, through threats and the use of physical and psychological violence, to engage in the recruitment marketing of other individuals in European countries, using various social networking platforms, with the aim of exploiting them later for criminal activities, such as the distribution and trafficking of narcotics, which were also carried out in European countries.
"TRANSNATIONAL This operation represents another important step in our commitment to combat human trafficking and to crack down on criminal networks operating domestically and abroad.
The operation was carried out by the structures of the Crime Investigation in the DVP Vlora, supported by the Directorate for the Investigation of Cybercrimes and other structures of the Criminal Police Department, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Vlora, as a result of a well-organized investigative and police work.
During this operation, two cases of adult trafficking from the state of Ukraine were investigated. The members of this trafficking network recruited in different countries of Europe, mainly citizens from Ukraine, bringing them to Albania, where they then kept their travel documents and used them to carry out illegal activities.

During the operation, 4 foreign nationals were arrested red-handed for the criminal offenses "Trafficking of adults", carried out in cooperation and "Intimidation", namely:
• MP, 27 years old, born and living in Kharkiv, Ukraine;
* NK, 23 years old, born and living in Kiev, Ukraine;
* OT, 24 years old, born and living in Minsk, Belarus;
* MS, 22 years old, born and living in Kiev, Ukraine.
Also, a citizen KM, 35 years old, resident in Poland, was declared wanted.
Also, 19 Ukrainian citizens, aged between 18 and 26, who were victims of this criminal activity, were accompanied and procedural actions were carried out in order to legally document this criminal activity.
During the operation, 18 laptops, 23 travel passports, 4 ID cards and 23 mobile devices were seized, which will be subjected to further laboratory examinations at the Scientific Police Institute in Tirana.
The State Police, in cooperation with law-enforcement agencies inside and outside the country, continues the work to identify the other persons involved and the full legal documentation of this case," the police announced. (A2 Televizion)
