German police have arrested a 44-year-old Albanian man, who was wanted in our country after allegedly selling cocaine in his bar in Pogradec 3 years ago.
A 20-year-old man has also been arrested, accused of theft in Paskuqan.
"The police operation codenamed "Exchange 2" is being finalized in cooperation with German partners."
A citizen has been arrested in Germany, accused of repeatedly selling cocaine in his bar in Pogradec in 2022.
During the operation, another citizen was also arrested, convicted as an accomplice for a theft committed in Paskuqan in 2023.
As a result of the provision of information and its exchange, through Interpol Tirana, with Interpol Wiesbaden, the police operation codenamed “Exchange 2” was finalized. As part of the operation, the German Police located and provisionally arrested, with the aim of extradition to Albania, citizens BS, 44 years old, and K. Gj., 20 years old.
•In 2022, the Korça Court assigned the 44-year-old the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", as it is suspected that he has repeatedly sold the narcotic substance Cocaine in his bar in Pogradec.
•In 2024, the Tirana Court sentenced the 20-year-old to 6 months in prison for theft.
"Cooperation between the homologous structures of Interpol continues to finalize the procedures for the extradition of 2 citizens to Albania," the police announced. (A2 Televizion)
