A mega anti-drug operation is underway in Saranda today, where several arrest warrants have been issued by court decision. According to sources, the action began in the early hours of the morning and so far some of these measures have been executed.
It is said that the SPAK operation was carried out to crack down on a group suspected of drug trafficking, investigations against which have been ongoing since 2020, writes A2 CNN.
Since the early hours of the morning, police forces have conducted searches in several apartments and have escorted several people. Sources from the investigation indicate that three people have been arrested so far, while the search for the others continues.
Several cell phones suspected of being used for criminal activity were also seized during the operation. Authorities are expected to provide more details later. (A2 Televizion)
