A serious accident happened at noon this Thursday on the Lushnje-Fier highway near Savra, where two "offroad" type vehicles, in an attempt to pass, collided with each other.
As a result of this collision in an overtaking maneuver, the off-roader with license plate AA 765 TL ended up in the canal on the side of the highway, about three meters deep and fortunately there was no water present.
Citizen FM was traveling in this vehicle with his three minor children from 5 to 8 years old, who fortunately miraculously escaped and only the driver of the vehicle received minor head injuries.
In the other vehicle with license plate AB 554 HB, the driver, a 30-year-old man, was traveling with his wife, mother and sister. None of these were injured as they were protected by metal side barriers and did not go off the road.
The police at the scene are working to clarify the causes of the accident, while human error is initially suspected at the time of passing. Fortunately, there were no injuries from this accident. (A2 Televizion)
