Fredi Beleri waived the question as a witness of the head of PBDNJ, Vangjel Dule, in the process against him in the Special Court. Dule was requested as a witness only by the defense and together with him the renunciation of the witness Marjus Suli was also requested.
Wednesday's hearing against the elected mayor of Himara was postponed to December 5, in order to find and question the witness requested by SPAK and Beleri, Abdyl Rama.
He is the brother of Arsen Rama, the person who cooperated with the prosecution by carrying out simulated actions with Beler and Pandeli Kokavesh.
For today's hearing, the Himara police informed the court that the witness Abdyl Rama had not been found. The prosecutor of SPAK in the room presented to the court a copy of the TIMS system, which showed that the witness had left Albania in September.
For this reason, the prosecutor requested permission to read his statements in the prosecutor's office. The request was opposed by the lawyers, who claimed that the witness was in Albania, that he was seen in the city of Vlora and that he had posted photos from this city in recent days.
In the same session from the cage of the courtroom, in a free statement, the defendant Beleri said that the court was wrong in the last session when it questioned the witness Arsen Rama in a session with closed doors.
