An accident resulting in the death of one person occurred on the Pogradec-Qafe Thane road, near the intersection of the village of Mëmëlisht.
Sources for A2 CNN near the scene said that the victim was hit by a vehicle that was traveling near this intersection.
It is also learned that the victim was walking when he received the fatal blow.
The driver of the vehicle that caused the accident hid the car at the former train station in Gur i Kuq, removed the license plates and fled on foot. Police say they have identified him and are searching for him.

At around 18:45, on the "Pogradec-Qafë Thanë" road axis, in the village of Mëmëlisht, an unidentified vehicle hit a pedestrian, citizen IM, 55 years old, resident of Mëmëlisht.
The 55-year-old died at the scene as a result of the collision.
