Lavdie Gjata is the 30-year-old woman who was the victim of an accident on the Berat-Dimal road this evening, while she was with her 2-year-old child.
A2 CNN has also provided footage from the scene, and according to preliminary data, a car driven by a 25-year-old man hit her as she was crossing the road with her minor child.
Fortunately, her 2-year-old child is out of danger, while the Police have escorted the driver to the police station and are working to clarify the causes of the accident.

At around 18:35, on the “Berat-Dimal” road axis, in Morava, citizen AT, 25 years old, while driving his vehicle, hit citizen L. Gj., 30 years old, and her 2-year-old child (pedestrians). Citizen L. Gj., as a result of the injuries sustained, died, while her child has no life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle is being escorted to the Police premises for further procedural actions.
