A 47-year-old man was criminally prosecuted by the police after he was caught with an undeclared amount of money while leaving Albania in Kakavija.

As a result of the increased vigilance of the Border Police services, with the aim of preventing and combating crimes at the border, at the exit of Albania, a check was carried out in the bag of the NL citizen, where 16,110 euros, 62,200 lek and 860 pounds were found. which this citizen had not declared in accordance with the law.
Following the procedural actions for the case, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in free status for the criminal offense "Failure to declare money and valuables at the border", for the NL citizen, 47 years old, resident in Shkodër. The amount of money was seized as material evidence.
