The Special Court of Appeal has upheld the "prison arrest" measure for the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, by not accepting the property guarantee.
For the same investigative file, the "house arrest" measure for businessman Elman Abule was also left in effect.
The Mayor of Tirana appeared before the Appeals Court of Appeals on Monday at 2:00 PM with the request to replace the security measure "arrest with imprisonment". (A2 Televizion)
