A serious event was recorded in Devoll. The police have arrested a 63-year-old man, after his attempt to kill his cousin's wife with a knife.
The incident happened yesterday afternoon in the village of Ponçare.
The citizen with initials JZ first punched his cousin's wife (uncle's son), injuring her in the face.
Then he took a knife and tried to stab him in the body.
The injured was taken to Bilishti hospital where she received medical help and is in good health.
While the Devolli police station detained the author for the criminal offense of attempted murder.
Police notification:
"Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Devoll Police Station arrested in the act the citizen JZ, 63 years old, resident of the village of Ponçare, Devoll, after in a drunken state and for weak motives he punched and tried to kill with a cutting tool ( knife), his cousin's wife, who was granted a protection order."
