The police have announced that they are continuing the coded operation "Gambling game", which was recently extended to Fier, where they arrested 4 people, as they are accused of organizing games of chance, while two other people are declared wanted.
"The police discovered 3 premises where games of chance were organized, contrary to the law, with computers and/or mobile phones.
4 citizens are arrested, 2 citizens are being processed in a free state and work continues to catch another one.
7 mobile phones and 3 computers were seized, through which games of chance were organized.
The Crime Investigation Specialists of DVP Fier, in cooperation with the services of the Fier Police Station, as a result of checks carried out in premises in Fier and Patos, as part of the coded police operation "Fate of the Games", have identified and struck 3 cases of adaptation of the premises for the illegal organization of gambling, with mobile phones and/or computers.
- Citizens AB, 45 years old, and MO, 24 years old, both residents of Fier, were put in handcuffs, after the 45-year-old had made his bar, in the "15-tetori" neighborhood, available for the organization of gambling, with computers and mobile phones, which were used by the MO citizen
-The FS citizen, 46 years old, was put in handcuffs and the proceedings started in a free state for the TA citizens, 64 years old and Sh. H., 52 years old, all three residents of Patos, after the 46-year-old had made his bar, in this city, available for the organization of gambling, while the 2 citizens prosecuted were caught in this environment, placing sports bets , with mobile phones.
- Citizen KT, 20 years old, was arrested and work continues to capture citizen KJ, alias AM, 39 years old, after it was established that the 39-year-old's bar, in the "29-nëvtori" neighborhood, where citizen KT was employed, was adapted to outlaw sports betting.
For these cases, 7 cell phones and 3 computers, which served this illegal activity, were seized as material evidence.
