A Turkish citizen has been arrested by police at the Muriqan border crossing, as there was an international arrest warrant against him, reports A2 CNN.
"At the entrance to the Muriqan Border Crossing Point, the Border Police services, as a result of increased measures and the exchange of information with Interpol Tirana, have detained a citizen declared internationally wanted: AO, 34 years old, resident in Turkey," the police said.
The Sakarya/Turkey Serious Crimes Court has sentenced him to 13 years, 2 months and 10 days, with the remaining time to serve from this sentence being 10 years and 20 days, for the criminal offense of "Trafficking in Narcotics". (A2 Televizion)
