The Durrës police have arrested 7 people as part of the "Last Bet" operation, for detecting and cracking down on cases of illegal organization of gambling.
From the controls in 5 bars in Durrës and Kavajë, 7 citizens were arrested who were caught in the act while placing sports bets with mobile phones. One of them turns out to have had a bar that was not registered with the tax authorities.
The arrested are: Shpëtim Daiu, Erion Hoxha, Rajner Bali, Ermir Çela, Arjan Kulla, Denis Shemun and T.Okshtini. As material evidence, 7 cellphones of the arrested were seized, which were used for placing bets.

DVP Durrës/The coded police operation "The last bet" continues, for ascertaining and cracking down on cases of illegal organization of gambling. They were caught in the act, in 5 bars in Durrës and Kavajë, placing sports bets, with mobile phones, 7 citizens were put in handcuffs. One of the arrested, the owner of a bar in Kavaja, not registered with the tax authorities. 7 mobile phones are seized, with active betting sites on them.
The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Durrës and Kavajë Police Stations, as well as those of the Plazh Police Station, as a result of checks carried out in 5 different premises in these 2 cities, within the coded police operation "The Last Bet" , have identified and prosecuted cases of sports betting, in violation of the law.
The Police Services arrested the citizens AK, 33 years old, RB, 30 years old and D. Sh., 30 years old, all three residents of Durrës, as well as the citizen EH, 32 years old (he had not registered the bar he owned in Kavajë ), E. Ç., 32 years old and TO, 32 years old, Sh. D., 52 years old, all four residents of Kavaja.
These citizens were caught in the act, while placing sports bets, with mobile phones, in 5 different bars, in Durrës and Kavajë. As material evidence, 7 cellphones of the arrested were seized, which were used for placing bets. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further actions. (A2 Televizion)
