A 44-year-old man was arrested by the police in Tirana, after two pistols were found in his vehicle, with one of them ready to fire.
He has been detained as part of the "Transporter" operation, as it is suspected that he had secured the firearms in Kosovo and then trafficked them to Albania, with the intention of selling them.
Earlier, as part of this operation, a 20-year-old man from Kosovo was handcuffed, and two pistols were found in his "BMË" vehicle.

After several weeks of intensive investigative work, the code-named "Transporter" operation continued, and another case of illegal possession of firearms, with the intention of selling them, was struck.
As a result, citizen K. (A) was caught and arrested on "Llazi Miho" street. C. (Ç)., 44 years old, resident in Tirana.
During the inspection of the vehicle that the 44-year-old was driving, the police services found two firearms, pistols, one of them with a cartridge in the slot, ready to fire, a silencer, a comb and ammunition, which were seized nor material evidence. together with the vehicle and a mobile device.
From the verifications carried out, it is suspected that the 44-year-old, after securing firearms in Kosovo, is suspected of having trafficked them in Albania, with the intention of selling them to other persons. (A2 Televizion)
