Ilirjan Selmani, the perpetrator of the murder of 52-year-old Kozeta Teco a day ago in Pogradec, has confessed to the police about the crime. He says he loved the 52-year-old and was not impressed by the age difference, because they were united by love. But he says that recently the victim had been beating him and that she was using him, while he denies the murder.
"I believe in God. I loved her, I didn't care about her age. I come from a good family and I can't become a murderer. She got drunk often. So did I. That's what brought us together, love and drinking. Lately there were times when she hit me. I put up with it because I loved her. Then I couldn't stand it anymore. I knew she was older but I loved her. I didn't care about her age. She used me, she didn't love me," the 37-year-old confessed to the Police.
While his psychological evaluation is pending, Selmani confessed why he threw the bloody towels in the trash.
"I threw the bloody towels in the trash, thinking that a chicken had been slaughtered in the apartment, because my roommate was obsessed with cleanliness." (A2 Televizion)
