The police have provided details regarding the anti-drug operation conducted in the early hours of Tuesday in the capital, announcing that several people involved in the distribution of narcotics have been arrested.
According to police, 34 security measures were executed and 27 people were arrested, A2 CNN reports.
"Thank you for your presence today at this conference. I am here together with the Deputy Director for Criminal Investigation, the Head of the Narcotics and Illicit Trafficking Sector, as well as the Head of the Narcotics Section to present the results of a well-organized, investigative and professional work by the Narcotics Investigation Structures at the Tirana Police Department, launched since the beginning of this year to crack down on criminal activity in the field of narcotics.
Following several raids carried out during the first two months of this year and as a result of the tracking and investigative work carried out in cooperation with the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, the police operation codenamed "Blic 34" has been finalized.
Within the framework of this operation, the execution of personal security measures "Arrest with Imprisonment" was carried out, ordered by the First Instance Prosecutor's Office of General Jurisdiction, in implementation of the decision of the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction, which has issued 34 security measures "Arrest with Imprisonment" as suspects for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics", provided for by Article 283/2 of the Criminal Code, for a group of persons who were engaged in the criminal activity of distributing the narcotics Cocaine, Heroin, Ecstasy and Cannabis Sativa, in different areas of the city of Tirana.
The investigations have lasted since the beginning of 2025, where special investigative methods have been applied and the criminal activity of distributing narcotics in various areas of Tirana has been documented.
During the operation, the execution of the security measures "Arrest with imprisonment" was carried out for 27 citizens, while work continues for 7 others to capture them as they were not found in their homes during the operation.
The following citizens were detained:

P., 47 years old, PB, 26 years old, MP, 25 years old, EM, 21 years old, M. C, 25 years old, S. R , 24 years old, KT 27 years old and AC, 21 years old.
The following citizens have been declared wanted and efforts are underway to apprehend them:
FB, 43 years old, ES, 28 years old, GG, 27 years old, D. G., 19 years old, KH, 24 years old, MB, 25 years old and EL, 30 years old.
Likewise, in the context of this criminal proceeding, seven citizens have been previously arrested, specifically:
KS, 26 years old, EN, 19 years old, DV, 19 years old, KP, 20 years old, M. B., 31 years old, KB, 23 years old and Xh. M., 19 years old. During this proceeding, at different stages the following were seized as material evidence:
* 3.4 kilograms of suspected cocaine.
* 150 doses of suspected heroin.
* 500 doses of ecstasy.
* 12 kg of suspected narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa.
* 26 mobile phones of different brands.
* 10 vehicles of different brands. From the investigative actions it results that these citizens distributed narcotics in neighborhoods, bars and near schools in the city of Tirana.
These citizens acted individually and dispersed throughout the territory of Tirana. During the operation, special investigative methods made it possible to secure evidence and legally document the criminal activity committed by these citizens.
On our part, all procedural actions have been carried out and the procedural materials will be transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for further investigative actions for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", committed in collaboration, as provided for by Article 283/2 of the Criminal Code.
The structures of the Tirana Local Police Directorate are maximally committed to preventing and cracking down on this criminal activity that directly affects the lives and health of young people.
At the same time, the structures of the Tirana Local Police Directorate have focused on fulfilling the main priority of increasing the parameters of order and security, and in this context, during the three weeks of February, 8 firearms (7 pistols and one model 56 automatic), 6 hunting guns and 3 sporting weapons have been seized.
Also, a priority in the work of the structures of the Tirana Local Police Directorate is the dynamic monitoring of the addressed issues and conflicts in order to prevent their escalation.
