Four defendants in the "5D" case have requested that their case be separated.
Taulant Tusha's lawyer requested that the case be separated for her client. "The evidence and facts are different for the defendants, along with the accusation," she says, writes A2.
With the same logic, the defendants Enton Punavija, Julian Zanaj and Albano Janku, members of the Bid Evaluation Committee, also request to be tried separately.
According to the lawyers, the criminal offenses for which Mariglen Qato and Redi Molla are accused (passive corruption, concealment of assets and money laundering), as well as Nestor Muhametllari, cannot be tried in the same process, since the trial time is also different.
