After the extension of the investigations into the "Buka" file where Arben Ahmetaj is being investigated, SPAK submits new evidence to the GJKKO. Over the last 3 months, prosecutor Elvin Gokaj has completed the investigative tasks that the Special Judge left earlier.
Under these conditions, the defense attorney of the former number two in the government requested time to familiarize himself with the additional evidence that SPAK submitted. This very reason served as the reason for postponing the preliminary hearing to July 17.
Arben Ahmetaj is accused in this file of abuse of office, writes A2 CNN.
According to the prosecution, when he served as Finance Minister, Ahmetaj allowed the privatization of land belonging to a bakery, where a complex of apartments has now been built. Ahmetaj is also being investigated for three other criminal offenses, including “money laundering”, “hiding assets” and “passive corruption”, in connection with the incinerator. (A2 Televizion)
