In Tuesday's session of the "Gërdeci" file at the GJKKO, former Minister of Defense, Fatmir Mediu, continued to express his objections to the responses of the experts who compiled the technical-military expertise report.
According to the former minister, handling ammunition was the exclusive competence of the Armed Forces and not of the Minister of Defense, writes A2.
"For every government decision, there was a ministerial order and after every ministerial order, another order or instruction from the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, this is how it works in the Ministry of Defense," said Mediu.
According to him, SAC was not only dismantled, but also demilitarized, meaning they were rendered ineffective and harmless.
"SAC carried out dismantling, not returning demilitarization, a fact that was pointed out to the company. There was no fulfillment of obligations that the Armed Forces should fulfill," said Mediu. He further added that the Armed Forces had a duty to supervise.
"Senior officials of the Armed Forces, according to evidence, have visited Gërdec. They have not implemented the obligations ordered by the Council of Ministers," the former minister underlined. (A2 Televizion)
