For Democratic MP, Asllan Dogjani, the collaboration of crime with the state has caused the security situation in the country to deteriorate significantly.
In the Off the Record studio, Dogjani stated that Rama, after using criminals to gather votes, will then have to make concessions to them.
He revealed that even the new head of the state police has pledged loyalty to Edi Rama, saying "I will be a pawn in your hand."
"These murders show the failure of the state police, the government. This government is no longer able to do anything to prevent crimes. We are in numbers as if we were at war. Let's not forget the hundreds of victims from accidents. Families are being left in blood. Children are being raised with hatred because the state does not function.
The Prime Minister himself has said let them eat each other's heads. This is a failure. Why do these murders happen? Police stations should keep people with precedents in check. When Rama takes groups and puts them in the campaign, then they will seek benefits.
"We had a deputy prime minister who said he opposed drug cultivation. Drug cultivation was done with the blessing of the state. A policeman told me about the competitions that when the general director was appointed, Rama called him and said, 'What can you do?' He said, 'I will be your pawn,'" Dogjani said. (A2 Televizion)
